Publications and Products Training and Workshops About NAATI

NAATI has implemented a national quality-assurance system for approving and monitoring courses that are concerned with translation and interpreting, particularly those that seek to equip graduates to work as a translator or interpreter. 

Students who complete a NAATI-approved course, at the standard required by NAATI, may apply for nationally-applicable accreditation from NAATI without further testing.

Students who undertake NAATI-approved courses can be assured that the course and its delivery have been examined by Australia’s independent national accreditation authority to confirm the standards of the course.

NAATI’s approval includes specified languages. Prospective students should note that educational institutions may not have all of the approved languages available at a particular time e.g. variations in student demand for particular languages. 

Details of individual programs and the current availability of particular languages should be confirmed directly with the educational institution, not with NAATI.
