(a) The application fee accompanying a candidate’s application for accreditation is non-refundable.

(b) Late fees are incurred if a candidate submits an application after the closing date, or having received an invitation to a test, the candidate returns the acceptance form and test fee after the date stipulated on the form.

(c) Where a candidate has accepted an invitation or requested a special test and then does not attend the test, a request for refund may be forwarded to NAATI in writing and a cancellation fee will be applied. See Cancellation Fees and Refunds in Fees and Charges.

Test Cancellation and Withdrawal when ill

Candidates who resolve to sit for a scheduled NAATI test despite being ill should realise that once they elect to do this, their test paper and/or tape will be marked on an equal basis along with all other candidates. State Offices, once notified of a candidate’s illness may be able to re-schedule a test. Candidates who decide to withdraw should forward to the State Office as soon as possible, a written explanation of the circumstances surrounding their withdrawal.
