All NAATI tests are marked by at least two (2) examiners and sometimes by three (3) examiners, who adhere to standard marking guidelines prescribed by NAATI. A candidate’s final mark will be calculated based on an average of the marks given by all of the examiners. Any enquiries regarding the marking of tests should be directed to the Accreditation Manager in the Canberra office.

Return of Results

Results are normally returned to candidates within 12 weeks of the test date of the Annual Testing Program. In languages of high demand (e.g. Mandarin, Spanish, Vietnamese) the return of results may be slightly longer.

Results of the Special On-Demand Test Outside Australia are normally available within eight (8) to ten (10) weeks from the date of testing, this may increase during peak and holiday periods.
