Every financial year NAATI develops a program of testing to be run for that year. These tests are available only in NAATI’s Australian and New Zealand testing centres. These tests are then run in November for the translation tests and between March and June for Interpreting tests, except Auslan testing which is typically run in July.

All candidates who have applied for testing, using the Application for Accreditation by Testing, as part of the Annual program or who currently available opportunities to sit for the test direction and level will be invited, these are  mailed out by NAATI normally at the end of September for translating testing and the end of January for interpreting testing. Candidates need to return the ‘Test Reply form’ indicating whether they accept or decline this invitation.
