• NAATI is the national accrediting body for translators and interpreters only. In Australia translators or interpreters are typically provided through commercial or government services or by individuals running their own business.
• NAATI accredited and recognised practitioners who offer translating and interpreting services are able to advertise on the NAATI website. Click here for the directory.
• Most private and public organisations have strict rules about who they will accept translations from and the form in which the translation needs to be provided. You should make sure that you are fully aware of these requirements before looking for a translator as you may need to ensure that the translator is able to meet all of the requirements.
