NAATI Credentialed Community Language (CCL) Test

The NAATI Credentialed Community Language Test is available for people who want to claim Credentialed Community Language (CCL) points, sometimes referred to as the ‘five bonus points,’ for migration purposes.

Applications for Credentialed Community Language (CCL) testing has been temporarily CLOSED until mid June 2018

NAATI has had to stop applications for CCL tests through its online platform. The system has experienced technical issues.

NAATI Credentialed Community Language (CCL) test applications will open mid June, not 30 May as originally published.

The delay is due to technical problems experienced in the CCL application process on 10 May 2018. Unfortunately, it will take longer to apply the solution to our IT system than we first thought. NAATI aims to ensure our online system is able to handle the high demand for CCL tests.

We apologise for any inconvenience and frustration, and appreciate your patience.

NAATI conducts CCL tests periodically. Current tests have been scheduled for:

  • 13-17 August 2018
  • 22-26 October 2018
  • 3-7 December 2018

Eligible applicants will be advised by email if a test place has been offered to them.

See the CCL section on our website for more details about CCL testing, sample test materials for practice, test locations and other information .

The CCL test is NOT a  NAATI certification test, and does not entitle you  to work as an interpreter or translator in Australia.
