Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander language interpreters can work towards achieving NAATI certification to show that they are trained and skilled professional interpreters.
Depending on an interpreter’s training and employment background, there may be some prerequisites that need to be completed for an interpreter to be eligible for certification testing. NAATI offers online prerequisite courses every 3 months for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander language interpreters working towards achieving their NAATI certification. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander language interpreters are invited to join us online to connect with other interpreters, refresh your skills, and work towards or maintain your certification.
Please RSVP to iip@naati.com.au to sign up for a session and we will send you an invitation, including the link to join.
