In Conversation — In Spanish and In English
You are warmly invited to join a conversation with interpreters and translators (Spanish-speaking and others) alongside the Insight Exchange team.
Insight Exchange centres the lived expertise of people who have experienced domestic, family, and sexualised violence. It is designed to inform and strengthen social, service, and system responses to violence and abuse. This free professional development (PD) session offers an opportunity to explore the available resources, reflection materials, and animations in both English and Spanish. It also provides a space to consider the language of violence alongside the translation and interpreting process, with insights into writing in Spanish and writing for translation into Spanish: https://www.insightexchange.net/espanol/
The session will be facilitated by Dr Tania Solorio, from the Mexico-based Insight Exchange team, who will be visiting Australia for a short time. She will be supported by Judy Saba CF from the Australian-based team.
