The Translation and Interpreting Program at Macquarie University (Sydney) is seeking to expand its panel of casual tutors for Japanese translation classes within its Master’s degree programs.
Requirements:
- Hold NAATI certification as a translator working from English into Japanese
- Have a minimum of two years’ professional translation experience
- Demonstrate familiarity with CAT tools, machine translation (MT) post-editing, and AI-assisted translation technologies
- While not essential, prior experience in translation teaching or tutoring will be highly regarded
