Insight Exchange: Free ESP/ENG Domestic, Family & Sexual Violence Training

In Conversation — In Spanish and In English

You are warmly invited to join one of the conversations with interpreters and translators (Spanish-speaking and others) alongside the Insight Exchange team coming up in Sydney and Melbourne.

Insight Exchange centres the lived expertise of people who have experienced domestic, family, and sexualised violence. It is designed to inform and strengthen social, service, and system responses to violence and abuse. All Insight Exchange resources — including information, animations, insights, and reflection materials — are free (donated) and intended for sharing across communities, services, and systems: www.insightexchange.net

These free professional development (PD) sessions offer an opportunity to explore the available resources, reflection materials, and animations in both English and Spanish. They also provide a space to consider the language of violence alongside the translation and interpreting process, with insights into writing in Spanish and writing for translation into Spanish: https://www.insightexchange.net/espanol/

The sessions will be facilitated by Dr Tania Solorio, from the Mexico-based Insight Exchange team, who will be visiting Australia for a short time. She will be supported by Judy Saba CF from the Australian-based team.
