Multicultural NSW is excited to announce that we are currently recruiting for full-time Onsite Interpreters and Translators in Arabic, Mandarin and Vietnamese.
This is a rare opportunity to have a full-time position for interpreting. The onsite Interpreter & Translator will be responsible for delivering accurate, high-quality interpreting and translating services in the relevant community language to ensure that members of the relevant ethnic community have equal access to government and non-government services.

What we’re looking for
A NAATI Certified Interpreter and Translator, in both directions, holding all of the following certifications:
- Certified Interpreter or higher in either Arabic, Mandarin or Vietnamese and
- Certified Translator Arabic, Chinese or Vietnamese into English, and
- Certified Translator English into Arabic, Chinese or Vietnamese.
- Over five years’ experience in interpreting and translation
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
- Ability to manage a variety of tasks and work to a flexible schedule at our Parramatta office or to attend onsite interpreting assignments as needed.
