Exploring Community Translation: An Inquiry into English–Vietnamese Translations of COVID-19 Texts
This research forms part of a PhD study at Auckland University of Technology that seeks to improve the effectiveness of translations for Vietnamese-speaking communities. The study invites participants who work with the English–Vietnamese language pair to contribute their professional insights.
Participants will take part in a single interview focusing on the criteria for high-quality community translation and the evaluation of COVID-19 translations produced in New Zealand and Australia.
NAATI Certified Translators may claim 10 PD points. NZSTI members will receive a voucher valued at NZD $50.
